Our Luxeon star LED's consist of a Luxeon emitter that is placed upon either a hexagonal or square sub mount, they come complete with connector and secondary optics so the beam created is tight and collimated. The hexagonal have been designed so that they are able to be connected and also powered in such a way that the hexagonal design is very tight and packed closely together making them perfect for spaces that are very tight yet no loss of light occurs in fact the output from the light is actually increased by the luxeon LED's. They are available in various colours. The Luxeon LED has the highest know flux in the world and has been measured at one hundred and twenty lumens, it also has a superior lumens maintenance compared to other leds, the light can last up to one hundred thousand hours, and the distribution pattern in the luxeons can be lambertian, side emitting or even batwing, they have been seen to be more energy efficient than most halogen lamps available to date, the beam is very cool so there is no fear of burning when touching them, it is less than one hundred nano seconds for the light to come into effect, the lights are fully dimmable with no ultra violet emissions.
